Erik Cartelle is the founder of Miami Lax, the largest lacrosse club in Miami, and is the Head Coach at Gulliver Prep after serving as their Defensive Coordinator. Coach Cartelle is currently a Florida Crabs coach for the 2026 team - he has been with the 26 team for several seasons.

Previous to his positions at Gulliver, Cartelle served as Defensive Coordinator at Christopher Columbus High School, where he was the steady hand of the program through 4 different head coaches. He also coached at Lawton Chiles in Tallahassee and played Varsity lacrosse at Columbus.
